El Gran Hotel tiene diseño colonial en fachada y adornos, los que se integran amigablemente con su modernidad en baños, pisos y servicios. El mobiliario esta hecho por artesanos de la región, famosos por el arte en madera, cobre, hierro y alfarería, entre otros. Destacan del hotel su limpieza, el confort, su tranquilidad.

Su excelente ubicación en el centro del Pueblo Mágico de Pátzcuaro le permite al huésped acceder fácilmente a todos los principales atractivos de la región.

Tiene un solarium con excelente vista a la hermosa plaza Gertrudis Bocanegra y a las curiosas techumbres de éste pueblo mágico.

En su restaurante se prepara comida regional, siendo su especialidad el pescado blanco, un ejemplar de textura y sabor especial. Cuenta con Distintivo H (Certificado de Higiene en la Preparación de Alimentos).

The Gran Hotel is housed in a centuries-old colonial building with all the modern amenities you expect from a fine international hotel. All of the furniture is made by regional craftsman, who are famous throughout Mexico and the world for their skill in woodworking, copper, iron and pottery.
