COLONIAL ROUTE

The colonial route that we recommend comprises three small towns besides Patzcuaro and the much larger city of Morelia.

You’ll visit Cuanajo for its important artisan tradition, Tupátaro for the remarkable interior of its church, Tiripetio for the important cultural significance of its university (the first on the American continent), and the historic center of Morelia as the ultimate manifestation of colonial architecture.
